Traces of Time

This work centers on a vessel-like form set against a surface composed of stitched color fields, evoking quiet accumulation and the passage of time. Subtle seams, layered tones, and restrained geometry suggest traces left by use, touch, and memory rather than overt narrative. The vessel appears both contained and permeable, functioning as a meditative form that holds space rather than objects. Painted with acrylic on wood and cloth, the natural textures of the materials remain visible beneath the surface, reinforcing the work’s focus on time, materiality, and attentive looking.
